The State Health Society Bihar (SHSB) invites online applications for the recruitment of Community Health Officer (CHO) on a contractual basis under the National Health Mission (NHM). A total of 4500 vacancies are available at Health & Wellness Centres (Health Sub Centres). Interested and eligible male and female candidates can apply through the official website shs.bihar.gov.in from 05 May 2025 to 26 May 2025 under Advt. No. 02/2025.

📚 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of a 6-month integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute/university from the academic year 2020 onwards
OR - Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of a 6-month integrated CCH course as above
OR - B.Sc. (Nursing)/Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/GNM with Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from IGNOU or State Public Health/Medical Universities, based on the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India
🔍 Note: The integrated CCH curriculum applies to those who completed their 4th year B.Sc. Nursing or 2nd year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in the 2019–2020 academic year or later.
