Sevak/Sevika

Passed +2 or its equivalent examination with C.T/ D.I.E.T training and Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) pass.

Tribal Language Teacher

Passed 10+2 Arts/ Science/ Commerce or its equivalent examination with CT/ D.I.E.T training and OTET pass and also have proficiency in the tribal language (Soura, Kuvi, Kui, Oram, Munda/Mundari, Sadri, Bhuyan, Ho, Santali, Juang, Desia, Gadaba, Kisan,Koya, Bonda) for which he/she is applying.

TGT-Arts

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR
2. Four year integrated B.A. B.Ed. with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder)
3. The candidate must have passed OSSTET.

TGT Science (PCM) & TGT Science (CBZ)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ B.Tech/ BE with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR
2. Four year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder).
3. The candidate must have passed OSSTET.

Hindi Teacher

1. Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the electives/ optional/ pass/ honours subject and One of the following training qualifications:

• Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
• B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE.
• B.Ed. in Hindi a course prescribed by NCTE from a Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras. OR

2. Bachelor’s degree with one of the following qualifications:

• Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha.
• Shastri (Hindi) from Odisha Rastrabhasa Parishad, Puri.
• Snataka(Acquired by June-2005, the date upto which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack. And

                   One of the following training qualifications:

• Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
•  B.H.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE.
•   B.Ed. in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar    Sabha, Madras.

3.The candidate must have passed OSSTET.

Sanskrit Teacher

1. Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as one of the electives/ optional/ pass/ honours subject and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE. OR
2. Shastri (Sanskrit) and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE.
3. The candidate must have passed OSSTET.

Physical Education Teacher (PET)

1. Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination and C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed from a recognized Board/ University.
2. The candidate must have passed OSSTET.

• TGT – Arts, TGT – Science (PCM), TGT – Science (CBZ), Hindi Teacher Sanskrit Teacher : Pay Scale Rs. 35400 – 112400/-, Pay Matrix Level-09, Cell-01
• Physical Education Teacher (PET), Sevak/ Sevika, Tribal Language Teacher : Pay Scale Rs. 23600 – 74800/-, Pay Matrix Level-06, Cell-01
