The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB JE Recruitment 2024, notification on the employment news for the Junior Engineer and other posts; the application window will open on 30 July 2024. RRB JE Recruitment 2024 Overview
RRB invites online applications from eligible candidates for Junior Engineer and various other posts. The authority has released the Centralized Employment notice (03/2024) regarding the recruitment. According to the notification, the authority plans to fill 7934 posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant including 17 Research/Chemical Supervisor/ Research and Metallurgical Supervisors for RRB Gorakhpur only.
The candidates can submit the online application for the various RRB posts from 30 July 2024 till 29 August 2024. The candidates will be selected based on the two-stage CBT exam performance, document verification, and medical examination.

Candidates must thoroughly read the eligibility criteria before applying. Here are the key requirements:

2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 36 years (as on 1st January 2025)
- Note: There is a relaxation of 3 years in the age limit due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
3. Medical Standards
- Candidates must meet the medical standards specified for the post they are applying for. Those found medically unfit will not be considered for alternative appointments.

Basics of Computers and Applications:
Architecture of Computers; input and Output devices; Storage devices, Networking, Operating System like
Windows, Unix, Linux; MS Office; Various data representation; Internet and Email; Websites & Web Browsers; Computer Virus.
Basics of Environment and Pollution Control:
Basics of Environment; Adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies; Air, water and Noise pollution, their effect and control; Waste Management, Global warming; Acid rain; Ozone depletion.
Technical Abilities:
